This Tier1 Whole House water system provides solutions for most common water issues, making it ideal for homes with 3-6 bathrooms. Before receiving ultraviolet (UV) disinfection, this top-of-the-line system reduces sediment, herbicides, pesticides, chlorine taste and odor, and harmful scale before receiving ultraviolet (UV) disinfection. Carbon and KDF are combined to reduce chlorine, taste, odor, and more. The sediment filter reduces common contaminants. Scale is reduced by utilizing Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC), protecting your home's piping and appliances while leaving your skin soft and smooth. There is no brine tank, expensive replacement salt, backwash waste, or control valve to contend with. Finally, any remaining bacteria, cysts, and more are deactivated as the water flows through the UV disinfection. Includes 10-inch x 54-inch resin tank with carbon and KDF media blend, 10 x 54-inch resin tank with scale inhibiting media, 20-inch by 4.5-inch sediment filter with housing and bracket, 18 GPM Ultra Violet (UV) disinfection system, required flex connector(s), and ball valve and nipple(s), ensuring installation is quick and easy. NOTE: Usage of the salt-free conditioning system on private well water must meet the following requirements: A pre-treatment system for Iron, Manganese, Copper, and Sulfur must be installed before the salt-free conditioner unless a professional water analysis shows that the raw well water meets the following chemistry requirements: Iron less than 0.3 mg/L, Manganese less than 0.05 mg/L, copper less than 1.3 mg/L.Certifications: The scale reducing media has been tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 61 for health effects.
