Designed with ease of operation in mind, the system reduces sediment and scale, helping reduce damage to your home's piping and appliances. Featuring Template Assisted Crystallization (TAC), the system is highly efficient, requiring just 5 seconds of contact time. There is no brine tank, expensive replacement salt, backwash waste, or control valve to contend with. Simply connect the Tier1 system to your water supply and the softening system will go to work. Includes 8-inch x 44-inch resin tank with scale media blend, 10-inch by 4.5-inch sediment filter with housing and bracket required flex connector(s), and ball valve and nipple(s), ensuring installation is quick and easy. NOTE: Usage of the salt-free conditioning system on private well water must meet the following requirements: A pre-treatment system for Iron, Manganese, Copper, and Sulfur must be installed prior to the salt-free conditioner unless a professional water analysis shows that the raw well water meets the following chemistry requirements: Iron less than 0.3 mg/L, Manganese less than 0.05 mg/L, copper less than 1.3 mg/L.Quality Whole Home Filtration: Salt-free alternative that prevents costly damage to your home's piping and extends the life of your washing machine, dishwasher, water heater, and other appliances.
