The Posi-Snap 1 Electronic Limescale Control Unit, Water Softener Replacement, uses magnetic web pulse induction to create a flux field that inactivates the calcium ions in your water and prevents them from forming hard limescale deposits. The calcium remains in your water as micro crystals and flows harmlessly out of your piping with the water. The inside of your pipes, hot water heaters, and faucets remain clean, efficient and trouble-free. Posi-Snap units are especially well suited for protecting solar hot and on-demand tankless hot water heater applications.
The Posi-Snap 1 is quickly and easily installed on the outside of your piping (no cutting of your pipes, and no endlessly winding wires) using the clamp mounted on the back of the Posi-Snap unit. It should be installed near where the water enters your home. Only piping with water flow after the Posi-Snap unit will be protected. The Posi-Snap 1 can be installed on any material piping (copper, PVC, PEX, mild steel, cast) up to 1" in trade diameter. It works on smaller pipes, too. If you have larger pipes, contact us for information regarding larger models.
After closing the clamp over your pipe, you simply need to plug the unit into 110VAC wall power to begin enjoying the benefits. No more salt to carry. No more excessive sodium in your water. No more wasting water with softener regenerations. Just limescale free living while reaping the health and usability benefits of hard water.
Unfortunately, if rust (reddish-brown stains) from iron is an issue in your water, the Posi-Snap will not fix this. It has no effect on the iron in your water. The pulsed flux field is tuned to calcium ions. We can investigate alternative solutions with you if you let us know you need iron help.
